Libratherm manufactures Six Zone Microcontroller based Multiple Ramp/Soak programmable PID/On-Off Temperature Controller cum Profile Programmer Model PRC-6000 which is designed to improve reliability, accuracy, and control of six independent heating zones. It features Ramp and Soak functions (the capability to control the temperature and its rate of change over a predetermined time span). A single and common pattern of 4 ramp/soak steps – (Fixed pattern of 1st pre-heating ramp, 2nd heating ramp, 3rd soaking, and 4th cooling ramp) for all six zones or each of the six-zone can be independently programmed and stored in the memory. This Multi-Channel PID Profile Controller PRC-6000 can also be used as single set point control when the ramp/soak profile control is not desired. PID SSR Programmer PRC-6000 accepts six K type thermocouples and provides outputs in the form of 6 relay contacts in PID or ON/OFF control mode. An extra relay contact is provided to indicate the thermocouple fault condition.
This PWHT Stress Relieving Controller PRC-6000 offers blue color graphical LCD screen to display the temperature of all six zones simultaneously on a single screen. The programmed and running ramp/soak profile can be easily monitored. The front panel keyboard allows programing of ramp/soak profile, PID values, deviation hold values, and viewing of various status parameters for all six zones under control. Through the keyboard, the user can operate each heating zone either in Auto mode or Manual mode in profile mode or in single set point control mode.
To monitor the online temperature profile of the heating system, RS 485 serial communication interface can be optionally provided, the same can be connected to the computer. Libratherm provides the window based software to program the controller and to view the online behavior of the heating cycle in both graphical and tabular format. Optionally, an extra RS485 port can be provided for Master/Slave programming with a single master and a maximum of 10 slaves.
